Dalton and Newton Town Band

will be sounding the Last Post at 7pm

at

the War Memorial, Station Road

on the

100th anniversary of their deaths, which will fall between Armistice Day 2017 and 2018.

The Environment Agency is offering a new Flood Warning Service to residents in Dalton in Furness for flooding from Poaka Beck, The Yarl, Hagg Gill and Butts Beck.


Residents within the flood warning areas should have received a letter through the post inviting them to register for the service, you can do this by filling in the form which came with the invitation
 or
by phoning the Environment Agency's Floodline on 0345 988 1188
 or
online at https://www.gov.uk/sign-up-for-flood-warnings
